These events aim at creating a forum for researchers working on applications of Mathematics in Computer Science.

We look forward to evolving new techniques for managing the enormous volume of mathematical knowledge available to the new developments in information technology.

33ACCMCC

The 33rd Australasian Conference on Combinatorial Mathematics and Combinatorial Computing was held from December 9 to 13 at The University of Newcastle, Newcastle, Australia. 33ACCMCC is a forum in which researcher can present their work and exchange ideas with others in their field. Topics of interest cover all areas of combinatorial mathematics, combinatorial computing and combinatorial optimization.

ICMCS 2009

The International Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science will be held in Loyola College, Chennai, India on January 5 - 6, 2009.

ICMCS 2009 is the third in a series of International Conferences that began at the Department of Mathematics, Loyola College, Chennai in March 2007. These events aim at creating a forum for researchers working on applications of Mathematics in Computer Science. The meetings in 2007 and 2008 were well received both by mathematicians and by computer science researchers, and were followed by a continuously increasing cooperation between both faculties. On the one hand, mathematicians found a new source of difficult and interesting questions in the analysis of models for Computer Science. On the other hand, the analysis of algorithms and data structures experienced significant developments with the use of existing tools. With the organization of the 2009 Conference, we hope to make further progress towards establishing a regular meeting place for discussion of topics at the intersecting domain of mathematics and computer science. We look forward to evolving new techniques for managing the enormous volume of mathematical knowledge available to the new developments in information technology.
